AT&T and DIRECTV Joint Offer Launch

The challenge

After acquiring DIRECTV, AT&T wanted a way to unify the sales flow, train AT&T employees on using the DIRECTV point-of-sale portal, unify monthly bills for customers and offer discounts to mutual customers.

Our solution

Cignium collaborated with both AT&T and DIRECTV architecture teams to customize their order management platform. Cignium also worked with AT&T and DIRECTV subscriber management application teams to allow customers to opt in or out of joint billing, which provided discounts on their bills.


In less than three months, AT&T agents were selling DIRECTV services on the DIRECTV call center portal, and DIRECTV agents were selling AT&T services through their existing portal. Later, Cignium released a fully integrated platform between the two enterprises.
