After AT&T’s acquisition of DIRECTV, there was a need to migrate information from nearly 20 million DIRECTV subscribers. In addition to this migration, AT&T wanted to strengthen their core business and compile all billing information to a single platform.
Cignium’s professional services provided data architecture and analysis to create the software solution through coordinated sessions with stakeholders from over 10 application areas. Cignium designed the architecture for automating the data conversion and provided multi-threaded file processing software to reduce processing time to minimal levels.
Cignium was able to identify the first set of customer billing data to be converted within two weeks of implementation, and all data was converted successfully within the allotted timeframe.
