DIRECTV acquired the home security company LifeShield and wanted to unify the sales flow between the two entities. They also wanted to attract new customers by offering packaged discounts to those buying DIRECTV and LifeShield.
Cignium designed and integrated a system that enabled DIRECTV to better handle large amounts of customer and order data. Cignium also worked directly with end-user representatives to produce a single point of payment capture for both company’s sales orders. This helped optimize the sale process and improve customer experience.
In less than six months, DIRECTV sales agents could sell LifeShield products with full integration. The project increased the company’s sales capabilities through several sales channels, including acquisition and existing customers, single installation delivery, and sales by DIRECTV dealers.
